The Retrieved River Delta

Task:

The wooden flooring trail is the only way to admire the views of the delta from. All additional elements – navigation, information boards should help the guests understand the uniqueness of the Volga delta ecosystems and the role of the reserve in their preservation. They should be harmoniously integrated into the environment, without obscuring the view.

Solution:

We have developed a unique design of information stands, making them horizontal and locating them at a slight inclination so that they do not obstruct the scenery. Navigation signs are fixed on the railing – they are noticeable, but not intrusive

After the rain. The information boards have successfully survived the weather and climate test.

How to talk about nature in a fun way?

The structure of the information boards is multi-layered: the material about the achievements of the reserve is a recurring theme. The information about the protected area is arranged in clear and understandable infograms and illustrations and reveals the things that can be missed by a common observer. This is how a consistent narrative in which the vast material is presented dynamically, accessibly, and interestingly is created.

The information boards are “tied” to interesting objects. For example there is a nest near the eagle’s notice, and these birds of prey often soar nearby.

The footprints are prominent and are made of porous nice to touch plastic.

How to entertain the guests on the ecotrail?

We use exhibits that visitors can interact with. This makes the walk more active, mobile, and at the same time provides a place for a good selfie.

Fishing in the reserve is forbidden, but you are always welcome to take a photo with a forty-kilogram catfish..

Who is faster: a dragonfly, an eagle or you? The signs on the railing show how much time do different animals need to cover the same distance.
