The Spiritual Pier of the Russian Navy

Task:

To tell about the glorious history of the Uspenskiy Church – one of the iconic cultural sites of federal significance in Voronezh. Here on the Voronezh river, Peter the Great began to build his fleet in 1696, sanctified it, and after a few months took the fortress of Azov.

Solution:

We developed the design of the exhibition, manufactured and assembled stands with showcases. The permanent mini-exhibition is dedicated to two tightly linked stories – the founding of the Russian Navy and the history of the church itself. Strict, modern design organically blends into the interior of the old church.

The exhibition for Voronezh Uspenskiy Church is a non-commercial project and our first work which is not connected with environmental issues.

Such expositions are extremely rare in functioning churches. Uspenskiy Church was the first in Voronezh.

Taking into account the architecture of the church itself, we have developed light, airy stands – both in construction and in visual style.
